Invoices and credit drafts
- Find draft, booked, paid, unpaid, overdue and sent invoices; inspect totals and customer history.
- Create and edit invoice drafts, add product lines, use negative quantities for credit drafts and retrieve draft PDFs.
- Use customer template defaults for layout, payment terms, currency and recipient; partial edits preserve untouched fields.
- Book or delete supported drafts with unrestricted write access. Booking and sending remain separate from preparation.
Orders, quotes and journals
- Create and edit order drafts; read draft, sent and archived orders and quotes.
- Create journal vouchers in finance, supplier invoice/payment and customer payment/manual invoice groups without posting the journal.
- Include dates, signed amounts, accounts, contra accounts, supplier/customer references, currency and supported VAT fields.
- Quote writes and marking orders as sent require unrestricted access. Drafts only permits invoice/order and journal preparation.
Departments, divisions and dimensions
- Read legacy departments and departmental distributions. Use modern dimensions for divisions, properties or other reporting segments when enabled on the agreement.
- Read and manage dimension layers and values; inspect distribution keys and assignments on supported accounts, entries, budgets and document lines.
- Create or update supported assignments individually or in batches, with version checks. Booked invoice-line assignments and distribution keys are read-only.
- Dimension writes require unrestricted write access and are blocked in Drafts only mode.
Records, references and documents
- Read and manage supported customers, suppliers, products, contacts, delivery locations and prices. Master-data writes require unrestricted access.
- Inspect accounts, accounting years, periods, entries, totals, currencies, units, layouts, payment terms and VAT references.
- Use all published Documents API operations: metadata, counts, filters, sorting, offset/cursor lists and PDFs. Attach PDF/JPEG/PNG or delete selected attachments with unrestricted write access. File-size limits apply.
- Self-billing requires validation of your document example, layout and VAT setup. Bookkeeping does not initiate bank transfers.

Provider permissions still apply. Drafts only adds a server-enforced restriction to a write-enabled e-conomic connection.

Only the owner can change Drafts only. Existing connections default to off. Final human review takes place in e-conomic; Bookkeeping does not add a separate approval inbox.
Questions about preparing work in e-conomic
Can Claude prepare journal entries without posting them?
Yes. Bookkeeping can create a voucher in an e-conomic journal without posting the journal. The payload supports finance vouchers and supported supplier/customer entry groups. A person checks the result in e-conomic.
Can Claude create order drafts, invoices and credit drafts?
Yes. Claude can create and edit order and invoice drafts. Signed or negative invoice lines support credit preparation. Existing customer defaults can supply layouts and payment terms. Validate your particular self-billing document and VAT treatment before relying on that workflow.
Can I technically prevent posting, sending and deletion?
The owner can enable Drafts only on an e-conomic connection. Bookkeeping then blocks final actions, deletion, master-data changes and dimension writes while allowing supported draft preparation and reads. It covers access through Bookkeeping, not credentials used elsewhere.
Do you support departments, divisions and dimensions?
Yes. Legacy departments and departmental distributions can be read. Modern dimension layers, values and supported assignments can also be read and managed when enabled on the agreement. Dimension writes require unrestricted access; Drafts only blocks them.
Do I need to paste an API token into Claude?
No. Connect your accounting provider in Bookkeeping, upload the Claude plugin and authorize its connector in your browser. Select the intended companies and permissions. The plugin includes the current remote connector URL.
Which plan should our daily workflow use?
For one person preparing work regularly, Pro includes 5,000 operations for 299 DKK/month excluding VAT. One request can consume several operations. Team is intended for several named users. Your Claude and e-conomic subscriptions are separate.
Can Claude read approved documents directly from the e-conomic Inbox?
The published Documents API covers attached documents and does not expose Inbox listings, approval status or moving an existing Inbox scan onto an entry. Those steps are therefore unavailable in the connector. Existing accessible PDFs can be read and previewed as page images, and supplier vouchers can be created in a journal, but this is not a complete automatic Inbox workflow.
